 Post subject: 1st Division Training.

Great event with the 1st Infantry Division in Windrush, Gloucestershire. Cover and concealment training, comms training, assaulting fixed positions etc.

Period Cameras, Period Film photography!
Kodak 35mm and Leica III, colour 35mm. Agfa Isolette 120 Black and White.

Well, see Sgt Reid's Grand MaMa sure loves knitting. So she sends him a pair, and he writes back, 'Grand Mama these fingerless mittens are just swell', so she sends him another 6 pairs so there's some for all the boys.

to be honest ive never seen any pics of them using finger less gloves..not saying it wouldn't of happened
but i think its more of a modern thing
i would stick with normal full length wool or wool and leather palm
