Here's a collection of images I shot on the 7th Armored on the Move tour in the Dutch Peel Marshes this last October 2012.
The tour was organized by 2nd Armored in Europe LTD with over a 100 re-enactors from various countries participating.
In 10 days we travelled from Overloon to Neder-Weert, setting up camp in different locations every evening and moving out by morning.
There were some closely fought firefights with the Germans; a river crossing and foot patrol on a rainy morning, there were commemorations and feasts, and a few drinks.

Despite getting soaked by the rain a few times in the later half of the tour, I'm glad to have been part of it.

Higher quality scans are now up at
History in Motion (Images are in reverse chronological order for some annoying reason)

7th On the Move 1944-2012 Video Part 1 (Venray and Overloon)
7th On the Move 1944-2012 Video Part 2 (Hattert to Nederweert)

Some really nice photos! Looks like it was a good trip. Who organises it?

There will be an other sort-a-like-tour, starting in France and running to Belgium, from August 28th to September 8th 2014.
