Normandy remembrance 2012, should I have said anything???

He was collecting for 'charidy' mate! But a couple of small misdemeanours, but the one BIG obvious one!

And no, no Photoshop involved

I take it you mean his backward facing Pegasus... not the pouches, truly bizarre cross straps, mismatched webbing colour, unbuttoned blouse collar or medal ribbons (which might well be his for all I know, my medal ribbon knowledge is negligible)...?

You're not going to believe this, but... http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/airborne/4 ... iment.html

Take a look at the first photo.

Webbing's a bit iffy so I presume you're referring to the wearing of ribbons, if he's ex forces himself and has earned them I wouldn't have said anything.
As for the Pegasus there's factual evidence to back that up but clearly it was the exception rather than the rule, but lets not berate the guy-hopefully he made a decent amount for charity.

Ah, but are they correct just because there's a period photo showing them facing backwards? Hmmm.... interesting stuff as they should really be forward facing.
