Hi,

I was wondering if there are any WW2 civilian reenactment groups in Kent that anybody knows of, and also how you join a reenactment group. I have never done it before, I have an interest in WW2 (obviously tehe) and am interested in taking it further into reenactment.

Thanks,

Georgie

Hi Georgie, yes there are. Contact Utility Jude on here and/or post again in the Civilian Life and homefront section, if you haven't already that is. :)

Good luck. :)

Spent time bothering to respond to the pm I received on this which was read and ignored.
Not even a 'Thank you for your advice.'
Where are peoples manners today?
Perhaps the words 'research, money, hard work and displaying' didn't suit.

Maybe they didn't realise quite how much is involved...i started about 17 months ago and it's a lot of hard work and money and i'm now researching a new avenue and have my first event in this in a few weeks time...i have a genuine interest and love what i do,

I'm always most grateful for any advice that is given to me, i'm new to this and there are people out there that know a lot more than i do LOL :)

Oh well :) wouldn't have taken a lot to say thank you though.

Oh Dear!
What was I thinking of last night!
Sorry chaps. That was a bit of an uneccessary rant there, making assumptions without thinking.
There could be many reasons for no reply....limited access to internet, waiting to construct a longer reply.
I have no idea, so should not have commented.
Unreserved apologies.
Jude

Emily, enjoy your first outing in your new role. You'll be brilliant.

Hi Jude,

PM'd you with regards to your PM.
Sorry again, I did appreciate the advice and was intending to reply more fully than a quick "thanks" after I had read your message but as I said in PM, that didn't happen and I had reasons. Hope you read the new PM anyway.

Thanks

Georgie.
