Hey Ladies,

Im trying to get my girlfriend interested in the re-enactment scene and shes takn a step towards it by writting a blog online and posting a few photos after her first event. She came along to the gunpowder mills event this weekend and had mixed opinons, on the sat it was very quiet public wise, pretty cold, muddy and a little wet, not the best situation to be in wearing heels stockings and a pretty outfit either. This obviously set her in a bad mood and she couldnt wait to get back to our travelodge for the night, shes also never camped before so i thought one step at a time, ill take her to a show and booked the travelodge, ill cross that bridge when i have too.

The second day was a lot better, she dressed in a blue boiler suit and boots, plenty of thermals on underneath which set her in a much better mood. The weather was better and there was plenty of public about so she actually had a good day with plenty to do and see.

Shes written it up on a blog shes just set up and i wondered if any of you girls would take a peek and maybe leave some feedback as im really trying to encourage her to come along to more shows. Were both in our early twenties and ive been around re-enactors since i was 8 so it would be a massive thing if i got her on board 100% if you catch my drift!
