ATS bits wanted for a mate.
she's looking for the following-BD trousers for 28-32 waist & 5 feet to 5 feet 3 tall....leather anklett/gaiter things....boots in size 4.
original or repro will be fine,if you PM me i can pass on details or act as go between.

Hi Al, if your friend wants to do most of the war, not just 45, tell her Male BD is absolutely fine. ATS had a BD issued but it is rare to find. Mostly they wore the men's BD until ATS BD became better tailored and more available in 1945. Battledress and Bayonet are making men's converted BD. It is what I have. ATS, when they couldn't get an ATS blouse, got a men's and the collar was faced open. If she can wait, word is khaki devil is repopping the uniform next year.

Also, if she is okay doing 1945 only, tell her to look for WRAC BD trousers.

Leather gaiters are repopped on Sentimental Journey Militaria.

Also, boots, I use modern brown leather paddock boots. If she knows what ATS boots look like, she can find a style of paddock boot that is extremely close. ATS reenactors do that over here in the US.
