I have never heard of such a badge and I have a book on such insignia. Most qualification badges were not actualy allowed in the ranks until the last year of the war. Exceptions were made throughout the war to NCOs and/or instructors, only before than. So I never recommend qualification badges to anyone unless they want to restrict their role.

In regards to ATS in medical, ATS who worked as orderlies in hospitals wore their usual SD, sometimes coveralls and worked under the nursing sisters. Some ran lab work, some seperated blood and plasma or assisted on wards as needed. The one thing you might see, and I have a photo some where, an ATS could get a RAMC collardog, brass for OR, and wear it over their left breast pocket in recognition of their duties to that corps.

And what's the typical, basic and widely usable insignia which ATS reenactor should wear on BD uniform?

None! A pair of cloth ATS shoulder sliders will do nicely.
