Welcome,
Steve Kiddle at Pegasus makes both the dungarees and the breeches.

http://www.pegasusmilitaria.com/products.html

They're not listed, so drop him an email. Not cheap but spot on.

Women's Navy Great Coat
Green floor length 1930s evening dress with sleeves set on net.
Blue and white rayon dress with peplum
Black velvet halter necked dress with silver shot thread skirt (may still have Harrods label in it) I have photos of all of these items and I know where they are in Scunthorpe, but would appreciate a nod if they come up for sale. [/color]

Ladies,

Im after a full WLA uniform for a certain lady friend of mine, ive seen complete sets for sale from stand up hook up, around 100 i think!

http://standuphookup1941.com/

Ive never actually looked too closely at them so not sure how they stand up, are they cheap nasty fancy dress sets or do they actually stand up as a repro uniform?

I see Steve Kiddle makes the dungarees and the breeches but i really need a whole set, any help would be really appreciated.

Cheers

I have not seen the ones form this company - would have to see a better picture than the one on there...if that is a white polo shirt then noooooooooooo. Depending on her size there are usually some good deals on ebay

I've seen them, you'd do better to source the items yourself. Polo shirts just don't cut it I'm afraid. Go to Kiddle, it will save you money and embarrassment in the long run.

what size is she?

I think about £70 for the breeches or dungarees. But it's quality and not the thin modern cotton. You only have to buy from him once.

Some lovely ladies on here (ahem ahem Nadine) who knit great sweaters that are spot on.

Does anybody have any idea on sizes in the beeches (originals)?
I can’t quite remember but I saw a pair in size 3 (?), and the measurements were about right, but the height came up a little short on the label- would this be the nearest I would get to fit a 5ft7-8 miss with a 24 inch waist?
At the time I wasn’t really on the look out so I didn’t try- silly me!

Depends on the date, I've seen odd sizings...from size 3 to size 17. I'm going to ask Fred Loggen to pop on as he'll probably have the definitive list on sizes.

size 3
Height 5ft 4in to 5ft 6in
Waist 24in to 26 in
Hips 36 in to 38 in

Size 17

5ft9-10" height
Waist 26"-28"
Hips 38-40"

Thanks for that- it was a size three I saw then.
I think I would have room for a friend too if I went for size 17!
I will keep a look out, and hope that the lacing round the calf doesn’t come on my knee like my other pair does :(

I wear Size 3 breeches (5'4" to 5'6") and I'm 5'7". They look fine but feel a bit restricted around the knees so I'm not sure if that's because of the slight height difference!? I have heard people complaining about this same issue. The waist size is pretty accurate though. They wouldn't fit any bigger than a 26" waist.

Yes that would be due to your height. I'm 5'10" and I'm wearing 5'7"- 5'9" ones and there a bit restricting :(... so if any one has any ones that are a size bigger I'm interested :D.

Looks like a common problem for us modern girls! I couldn't possibly work in mine, as I can't bend my lallies- I could only do work where I’d be standing up! :)
