Im trying to remove the residue from some " been there a long time " sticky price labels on some ww2 U.S shoulder patches

Is there a way without damaging the patch?

Thanks

Ian

This site looks a possibility. I haven't tried WD 40 on clothes but I have used it on book dust jackets with success:-

What ever you use, just try a small area first.

Another option is a visit to your local dry cleaner, preferable one that cleans on site rather than sending everything away.
