Hey all,

I've watched this forum for a long time off and on and would just like to formally introduce myself. I will be moving to Kingston Upon Hull, Yorkshire for university in September. I've been reenacting for a long time now doing American Civil War, German WW2 and Brit WW2, I'm currently 26. It would be great to find a group to maybe hit up a few events with. I won't have my stuff right away but I'm planning on putting my web gear and maybe helmets together so my parents can ship it to me but I'll be needing a new uniform as my old BD has gotten a bit snug if you know what I mean. Anyway, I look forward to maybe meeting a few of you!

Samuel

Hi Samuel,

Wow that's going to be quite a change  . Welcome to the forums, and the UK.

We're a bit further south from you but may well see you about!

Cheers

Shift

My condolences that you'll have to endure Hull and its quality of residents.

You've chosen a great year, the city is really buzzing.
My eldest son just graduated from the uni. We're not too far away in the leafy avenues area..ignore the stupid comments about Hull, we only moved here last year and we love it. So much history and lots going on.
Pop me a message, we no longer do WW2 LH but do Great War and Victorian and know lots of nice folks not too far away who will probably delighted to have you.

Women's Navy Great Coat
Green floor length 1930s evening dress with sleeves set on net.
Blue and white rayon dress with peplum
Black velvet halter necked dress with silver shot thread skirt (may still have Harrods label in it) I have photos of all of these items and I know where they are in Scunthorpe, but would appreciate a nod if they come up for sale. [/color]

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I haven't been much into WW2 lately but I'm trying to make a comeback. I was doing Airborne/Glider and may still do some of it as I have the kit, but I think I'm looking more for a british infantry unit as my interests have shifted a bit.
