Does anyone know someone who is good and reasonable at restoring the Flathead V8s? Would like somewhere in Scotland or Newcastle area if possible.
Thanks
The Auck

try a google search for Nordian Services ,they have been involved with flathead fords for a long time or if that is no good get a copy of custom car magazine and look in the services section in the back and try some of the traditional hot rod building companies

Definately Nordian Flathead Ford V8 specialist. When I looked into buying a superb civilian 1942 Ford V8 car about 10 years ago they were the specialists then, and are now. The guy I saw several times about his car enthused about them and how well known they were to the Ford V8 club as experts in their craft, with big spares back up and know how.
I didn't buy the car, but that's because he wouldn't shift in price and he wanted £3000 more than it was really worth! :D
