I would like to congratulations you on your photos a nice effort in good surroundings, seeing as you guys acted like such mongs towards us on here I'd say that was a pretty good compliment coming from me. It would be easy for me to not comment on your photos but I'm not small minded.

Well done.

Dear Darren,

Thank you very much for your comments, we do appreciate them. Our aim as a group is to portray the veterans as they were, and that is our only agenda. I look forward to maybe working with you guys in the future.

Thanks once again, and best regards,

Colin

Including the use of a 'captured' Mk.II Sten, as shown in the 3rd and 5th fotos - nice touch! Well done!

Lee,

Thanks for your comments

The sten Mk11 was used as it was correct for the scenario and in the original photographs of 222,there is actually 2 Stens on Tiger 222 in the original pics

Cheers

Ian

nice photos, can I ask. Is the Tiger rotting away internally? Such a shame if she is.

We had 213 open....

But it was very remiss of me... I didn’t take any internal photo....

Externally 213 is ok.... not so good inside.... :(

For me she should be under cover... not hidden away ... but under cover say in a green house type structure....

ps...

I also wish those that took the time to visit 213 didn’t then see fit to leave their mark scratched into her paintwork…..

They belonged to 9th Regiment. Their progress with KG Peiper can be more or less followed using the photographs/cine film shot by SS Kriegsberichter. They were alloted to Peiper from the start of the offensive during the battle for Lanzerath/Honsfeld and remants did get as far as the La Gleize kessel.

One who didn't and fell at Honsfeld can be read about here:

Thanks for the comments guys,

I'll hold my hands up and apologise if i've upset anyone in the past, It was never the intention, just voicing an opinion.

We're all adults, I didn't fall out with anyone over anything, was just arguing the point! :)

Cheers again guys
