Hi Rod, many thanks for the warm welcome . I will sort out the material you want and get it off to you in the next few days . It is great to reenact the SS-FJ ,this is a small unit but in the short time they existed , they sure made a name for themselves .

I'm interested yes, I once saw one that I'm very interested in, maybe you have it? It's next to the cemetery in Drvar, where the woonded are collected. There is a wounded or dead SS-FJ in the foreground and he as a pair of glasses. And the picture with the SS-FJ with the MG42 on a lafette in the forest, where also a schütze is wearing spectacles. It's in the little Michaelis book.

I guess you already guessed it by now: I wear glasses

Hi Guys , if this is of help I have a copy of the "Tagebuch" in German written by SS-FJ Leonard Schaap .I will gladly make copies if anybody wants a copy .I also have some nice and rare photos of SS-FJ which came from the vets themselves .Patrick Agte is about to bring out a new book on the SS-FJ 500/600 which also has new material .
It is great to see Rod and his group reenacting this rare and elite unit .

Is it still possible anyone could get me a copy of this please?
Regards
Keith
