For today and yesterday a C47 has been flying over my house and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this?

Its marked up as British what looks like pale grey. So far its been over twice today and went over about 5 times yesterday, with about 45 mins between each pass. I live in Clevedon, filton is just up the road and then you have other various airfields dotted all over the place.

Was wondering if anyone knows anything about this one, has it recently been restored and is have checks to make sure its air worthy?

I just wish it could fly over every day!

I live about 1/2 mile from Filton airfield and not seen a C47 here, mores the pity.
Seen plenty of the spit tho lately.

Jon,

Did it look like this:

Image

If it did, it's Air Atlantique's G-AMPY. Not sure what it was doing although it may have something to do with pleasure flights as the powers that be have said that they can't do it any more.

Aha... I may have been right. From tomorrow to the 29th the Farewell Tour will be in Cardiff.

More eu bullshat why do we keep listening to them? Passengers going in these planes know they are not modern planes with the same safety standards and in doing so must have thought the risk to be small, we should be allowed to make our own decisions we are adults at the end of the day, well maybe some of us are
