is the hand lever on the side of the fuel tank connected to anything (forward and reverse? ) or just for looks?

just a poser ...

off course it is connected but for reverse only - my very first bike had the lever also for the forward gears but each time you wanna shift you have to let go the throttle - wasn't that conveniant to me but for reverse is perfect

could not stand to add some finishing touches to my Bimmer-Repop

added some plaquettes and the beemer signs

that's how she is right now and hopefully also stays

now just ridin', ridin', ridin', ...

have you ever been to the south of china where air humidity is as high as in subtropical regions - raining all day long???

i have 2 rigs already runnin in europe - 1 in france (since 2 years) - 1 in germany (about 1.5 years) - even Wellington NZ (civil outfit) - no problems

i do the prep for the paintjob myself - sandblasting - basecoat - filler - final colour - some sanding inbetween

those ladies get old ...
