I think I'll convert my WW2 helmets into hanging baskets, OOOH! I'll use my 1917 SMLE to keep my shed door from swinging closed :lol:

funny you should say that actually, my gran has civil defense helmets as hanging baskets, and the bolt for the rear door is a actually a bolt from a rifle

The "T" trailer plates were attached to any UK trailers from the 1930's onwards. It was not a military mod.

Restoration is the best route for this relic, not that rare but a shame not to take it back to it's original state.
