can anyone tell me what are the best set of sparkplaugs for the Bedford OY? I am currently have a set of Champion J8C fitted but these maybe incorrect.

The wartime manual for 27HP Bedford engines specifies A.C. K9V plugs, except for screened wireless versions where A.C. SF12R ones were to be used.

That might give your local motor factors something to work from, although K9Vs are long extinct.

Sorry, I can't remember what's in the QL at the moment, will have a look when I get a chamce.
