Quick question......

Do the DVLA consider a vehicle's date of delivery (DoD) as it's date of manufacture (DoM)?

Cheers
Steve

It's a tricky area.
Depending on who at the DVLA you get put through to, the vehicle didn't exist until it was first registered!
What are trying to prove? Often they will only accept certain "evidence" to verify a vehicles age.

Give them a picture of your chassis tag attached to your vehicle and photo scan of Date of Delivery for that serial number batch ..job done.

Regards

Lloyd

I assume they will want it verified by one of the vehicle club unless things have changed.

Thanks for the replies guys. I ask as the MVT have seen and verified the jeep but have stated they can confirm the year and month of manufacture but cannot confirm the day. The month - day - year DoD can be clearly seen on the data plates which are original and intact. Just a little confused!?!
