Hi Guys,

Got a Jeep coming and heading in a slightly different direction to what I'm used to.

with out kicking up a storm, what colour should a Brit Airborne Jeep be for say Op Market garden?

And, did A/B Jeeps have mickey mouse camo during Overlord

Cheers

T

I think mickey mouse camo was used for Overlord but as far as I know it was just the plain British green which was darker than US OD green (don't ask me the actual name!) for Operation Market-certainly for Airborne Recce anyway.

Yes that's true many vehicles were left as per original paintwork, to be honest I never gave that a thought

I find Warpaint from RR Services very good personally, but then I havent tried any others!
Most references seem to echo what has already been said, US built vehicles would probably be left factory finish colour until due a repaint.
