It looks too warm for a stroll in the sun.
As long as the sunglasses are '30s era style, no problem.
MG crews were issued with polaroid sun glasses, so they wouldn't miss the target because of the glare from the sun.

My uncle has a pair of wartime dated sunnies he was issued when sent on National Service with the RAF to Rhodesia in 1947. John Lennon stylee with polarised lenses and spring wire ends to the arms. He still wears them.

Those same glasses were later renamed "glasses, tinted, nuclear bomb protection, national servicemen for the use of" and deployed to Christmas Island.

if you want to think up famous glasses wearers then either Elton John or Dame Edna Everage would have been winning choices...

The 'John Lennon' glasses are actually Windsor eyeglasses introduced in the 1880's and they remained popular right up to late 1970s.
Glasses are better than contact lenses for re-enactment.
I bought a pair of unissued Deinstbrille with original tin from an Estonian site for less than £25. My local optician put in new lenses.
I'm currently looking for a pair of civilian glasses for walking out in.
