I looked at his when I was trying to find mine. They look a bit floppy to me so doubtful if they have the crash helmet built in.

I did ask him for a few more better pics but never had anything back :(

Neil.

Hi Neil, that's what i was thinking, it looks like it's just the beret for sale. Out of interest though, where would you get a crash helmet for the beret anyway mate?
Johan.

The early Bundeswehr Panzerwaffe used the same sort of crash helmet for a while. The inner was pretty much identical, the berets were in that brown-grey wool and not as baggy if memory serves. About 10 -15 years ago these helmets were on the market.

Maybe get on some sort of Bundy collector's forum or try somewhere like Silvermans maybe

I've been in the dressing up box this weekend, so thought i'd share this pic of the early war look. I finally managed to pick up a nice set headphones and throat mike to finish all off....

I bought one of these from a Hong Kong dealer on ebay a few years ago. Unfortunately, it came up very small like a Frank Spencer beret. If anyone does decide to make them in the future then they should be quite voluminous, otherwise they wouldn't look right.
