Hello all, i've been reenacting for a few years now primarily in early war German but due to financial constraints (and frankly bored of the same events year after year) have decided to try a new venture closer to home, therefore i'd like to introduce Tommy Und Jerry 1940!

The group will be made up of family and friends most of whom have experience in the subject and we will be specialising in the Blitzkrieg in the west 1940. We aim to show the uniforms, equipment and weapons of the early war British and German Tommy and Landsers to show the public how things differed between the opposing forces.

We will be attached to the W.Wilts MVT and by their kind permission will be using their vehicles and heavy weaponry as display props and will be starting out in the new year as the season commences.

Wish us luck Steve :)

Very interesting - especially that you live in Wiltshire, as I moved here a couple of years ago!

Although not either Tommy or Jerry, if you ever wish a Polish from 1939 displaying with you, let me know and I will see what I can do! But it is great to see more people doing the early part of the War!

Nice to see some early war, we all get a bit tired of late war, don't we?

Thanks for the comments guys and Corporal Bang if you are local there are several events in and around Wiltshire that are fast growing and a Polish display would be a great addition. The Lacock at war show would be a fantastic event to take part in as it's in the National Trust village and very well supported by the public and tourists alike, i'll post the events list on this thread in the new year and hope to see you there!

Regards Steve.

A few pics of our first season, we've had great feedback over the course of the year and can't wait till it kicks off again next season!
