Am I being thick (again) ? Actually don't answer that one 'cos I already know the answer - I *think* I've logged into AFRA - when I do I get three pages.

The first is The Idea, Method and Us. Then a nice contact page. The events calendar (but no drop down menu on the tool bar) and a (currently) blank news page.

Don't seem to be able to sort out my account, don't seem to be able to add events to the calendar - not sure I'm really logged on at all - despite activating the account.

Decided to publicly look a total pratt 'cos I might not be the only one having trouble out there and the answers might help others in the same boat and save having to answer the same question 200 times... unless I'm special (again, don't answer that one ;)

Paul

Try deleting cookies and shutting your browser, then log in with the new account details. You should see the application button in the top bar.

Several responses, all error in the / application. The latest two: "Validation of Anti-XSRF token failed" and "The cast to value type 'System.DateTime' failed because the materialized value is null. Either the result type's generic parameter or the query must use a nullable type."

Would ask Karl but can't log on there at all now :(

Er, have I broken it ?

It was Cookie who broke it! :D Paul, make sure you are going to www.afra.org.uk and not the old my details page. Maybe clear that one out of your history?

The site might be shut down for a few hours until Karl can sort this. He is aware, but can do nothing until he is at home.

The AFRA website will be down for a few hours whilst Karl works his magic on the bugs. Please be patient, the whole new site is being done for members benefit, not to cause agro.

I re-registered last night, got the confirmation email, could log-in fine - but didn't have my passport photo on my home machine to update registration details, so I logged out and went to bed. All went smoothly.

I'm now at work, on my work laptop with my passport picture file ready to go, ~8 hours after I re-registered, and I cannot log back into the site now. I enter my email and password as before, and it just doesn't log me in - no error messages, just resets the page as if I'd not entered anything into the log-in boxes.

:?
