On the bright side, at least this shows that the verification system in place works.

Afternoon,
All memberships that has been renewed or applied for between 22/05/2014 and today and have received email confirmation form us, your cards are printed and will be posted tomorrow.
All memberships are up to date, the only ones sitting on our inbox are from those who have made a renewal/application and not paid. YOU ARE NOT MEMBERS UNTIL WE RECEIVE PAYMENT>
Can I also ask that if you think you have paid and should of heard from us that you check your Spam filter has not dropped your confirmation email into the trash as this contains important information and keeps you updated with the membership process. If you have paid and have not heard anything from us can I ask that you contact us on here or via email on busby@afra.org.uk
We can not help sort out problems if we don't know about them. Usually there's a very good explanation if something does not appear as it should be.
If you only moan to one another and we are not ware of a problem, it wont be resolved
Many Thanks to all our members
AFRA

Just wanted to say thanks to Richard Busby for popping into the Bushcraft forum and helping put matters straight re the VCR act before someone got into a spot of bother.
Cheers Richard.

Any renewals or applications received after 10pm on Thursday 3rd July 2014 will not be processed until the morning of Monday 7th July 2014. If you need your membership for an event this weekend, you need to get it sorted now.

As of 12:00 noon today, the AFRA office will be closed. I will still be able to respond to messages and emails, but may not have full access to the website, depending on mobile signal. Unless it's something I can work on relatively easily, I won't be able to help you. Normal service will resume on monday morning.

Good Afternoon from the AFRA HQ, Like the elves in Lapland the AFRA executive have been working hard to get all the membership processed. If you joined/renewed between the 09/12/2014 and 17/12/2014, have paid and have had a certificate emailed to you, then your membership cards are on their way.
Please be patient at this time of year as we know the postal system is slower. If however, you do not receive your card and you believe that you should have it then please drop me a line.
Memberships will continue to be processed over the Christmas period, however the elves need a break as well so will be done periodically. The next batch for posting will be completed in the New Year.
All that leaves me to say is Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.

Just like to thank the AFRA elves for their speedy service - slightly let down by the post office dicking around with our post but the post mark showed an impressive turnaround - many, many thanks :)
