Guys who do Luftwaffe Fallschirmjaeger now and fancy doing Waffen-SS, this is the cheapest option. Trust me, I know, becouse I did

If you have any questions: just ask, we won't bite.

The unit was formed in two waves: first wave for Btl.500 in October 1943 and the second wave after the Tito raid May 1944 and battles in Lithauen September 1944 when the unit was re-named in Btl.600.

So insignia of Waffen-SS regiments or divisions wich where formed in 1944-45 are unlikely to be worn in Btl.600. First you have to be in the unit and then you had to be a volunteer for the SS-Fallschirmjaeger, that would be strange.

It seems that the Rolf Michaelis book has been translated in English and is for sale from Shiffer:

I've left the group to and now it is technicaly no group anymore.
I've stoped re-enacting Waffen-SS. I'm going to my first impression: a regular Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger.

Hi Nick

Jay was thinking about kicking this back-off again. I've dropped him a line.

Cheers
