for one of our heavy tanks you could use corrugatted cardboard.

Coat it with PVA glue, wait for it to go hard, and then you have yourself an experimental "super-tank"

There is one bit of kit our display is missing, a Japanese machine gun. After extensive searches on the web i have not been able to find a single one for sale anywhere so im asking for your help. Have any of you every seen one for sale or even know of anyone who could make a replica one. A captured Bren will dous for the moment but it would be nice to up-grade in the future to a proper japanese machine gun.

Thanks for the info mate but it would be a bit of a trip.

As a second option does anyone know if there are any of the old French Hotchkiss medium machine guns which the Japanese copied like the one on the left in my signature banner.
Thanks guys

Quality! You seem to be really getting sorted with all this :-) I'm sure there's listings somewhere (maybe even in this topic, so bear with me!) but what events are you doing this year?

Well, we have got our first show under our belt now, overall i think it was a success, but it depends on what other people thought looking at the display, we do have a couple of things to iron out before the next show, but anybodies opionions are welcomed to try and make what we do better.
Thanks guys

well, just done the VJ show at the Shuttleworth collection at the weekend, and i must say, that was the most enjoyable show i have done, the amount of feedback from the public was amazing, for a show that was still basicly an air show the public were great, and the organisers certainly looked after us really well, what with expenses and lunch thrown in, nice one.

well here are some photos of the display, please compare them with the Walthem Abbey pictures and let me know what you think, has the display progressed in the right direction over the year so far?

this year at Beltring if all goes to plan we should be displaying both a type 3 heavy machine gun and the smaller type 11 to show off the different Japanese designs.

We should also have a selection of uniforms and kit available for purchese :D
