Thanks to the group members who displayed at Kelmarsh Hall, and I think I can speak for all to say we enjoyed the event and the hospitality. As per usual the banter was sparkling and humorous with some "now then now then", moments.
Many thanks to Russ, Jon, Joe, Karl etc, from AFLHG for their invitation to join their group for the event, your company was much enjoyed. Thanks also to Mark and Glen of 2nd Armoured for your kindness, too.

Colin

Just a few more pictures now from our Bovvy trip to finish off before i get some Kelmarsh pics up later.

We were literally swamped with the members of the public, all eager to listen and learn. Some with very interesting stories of thier own:

Last sunday, we at TFH were invited to join forces with AFLHA and become part of a combined display along with 2nd Armoured in Europe, GI44-45 as well as other groups too portraying 2nd armoured in Normandy at Kelmarsh Hall in History Live 2014.

Below are a few snaps from a very enjoyable day in the woods!

Looks like you managed to get the dry bit! Our part of the woods was so muddy EH closed us down by 11:00am.

Fantastic photos chaps. Keep up the good work.

I have had another email from The Tank Museum, thanking us again for our efforts over the weekend of Tankfest. Counting up the numbers of visitors, they had 14,500 people attend over the two days, making it one of the best they have done. I think that we had most of them on our display at times, so a big well done to all attending TfH members.
