The Americans constructed carry bags for the M3 and the Thompson.

But what about a case for the MP40, did the Germans ever construct such a thing?

I've seen repro stuff but nothing i have read, or seen would suggest that they ever existed :S

I am interested in buying one either way, to transport it to shows, as i usually walk or ride to my locals.

The fabricators case is pure fantasy.
It does hold the MP40, loading tool and 5 magazines (why not 7???) very well though.
It does need a strap (breadbag strap works) and the loops provided could be spaced better for ease of carriage. They take about 5 days to arrive in uk.
For the money though, I'd say buy a post war Bren spare barrel bag, the Mp40 fits just as well. You will need your belt pouches whatever choice you make so the extra 5 on the Indian bag add nothing to the deal.

Oh no, it's real, just, only made in the sweat shops in down-town Delhi and Singapore circa 2011....

But it was never issued in WW2, that's what I mean by fantasy.
Their utility level is undeniable but their authenticity level is zero.

3/5 being German :S

Do you think that is to do with the heavy lack of original German gear?
