The above is a short clip of me (I'm the guy in the back with the Italian camo trews) shooting my MP40 at a recent event. As you can see it's in perfect working order and I love shooting it! Tell me what you think. :D

The gun looks good but don't forget to fold out your stock! Common reenactor mistake, using the MP40 with its stock folded in, all the field manuals of the period insist on only firing the MP40 with the stock folded out. I don't think that I've ever seen any original footage or photo's of the MP40 being used with the stock folded in. Otherwise keep up the good work!

Is it an original MP40 rather than a B/F replica?
They usually are in Malta.

It's an original fxo41 in perfect working order. For reenacting I just use a machined BFA screwed instead of the muzzle-nut.

@ Fallscirmhans, thanks for the heads-up re the stock... didn't know that! I'll try to keep it in mind for next event
