Good for you, mate. Welcome to the shooters' club. All you need to do now is find a rifle club so you can get to try her out with ball!

Try Tony Budge at Ryton Arms, Paul. He had loads of K98s a while back and might be able to do you a live one. You could also try Vickers. They had some in 7.92, I believe.

I just bought one from Ryton actually. It's in very good condition, ex Soviet capture, so all Waffenampt'ed up. The wood work needed a bit of a sanding down and an oil, but that's about it. Lovely looking bore. I'm going to try her out this weekend - unfortunately the club's going to be using the 500 metre firing point. Should be an interesting attempt at zeroing!
Sorry, I digress. £200 from Ryton, and they have loads.

Can't you just drive to Budgys place ? He's only in Retford. Surely you're better seeing what you're buying anyway.

Spoke to Tony Budge yesterday, Paul, and he has loads of live 7.92 Mausers. All with full Waffenampt markings, ex rooski-capture, around the £200 mark. Rytons weapons are always the best looking out there, too.
