Old spec does not apply to bolt action rifles, only pre 1995 sub machine guns fall into old spec catergory. Try looking at Ryton Arms. You may want to check the Wanted thread aswell, where this post should really be.

Hello,

I'm sure that Soldier of Fortune reenators suppliers sell K98's
Might be worth a look? www.sofmilitary.co.uk

Best regards and good luck

Cerwyn

Look at TR325 product code in their online catalogue.
If you wanted a working 'model' try www.modelguns.co.uk or www.modelguncollector.co.uk for pfc type

Good luck!

Blimey, that makes SOF's price look a bit silly!
I hope you find one!

http://www.rytonarms.co.uk/site/home.php They do a cheaper one without bayonet lug, less than £200. The York Guns ones are 'Tired' and will need some tlc to get them upto scratch. When I spoke to them they were awaiting stock and would be bumping the price a little. I'll ring them again on Monday and let you know.

all deactivated K98's have working action, you can cycle the bolt pull the trigger and it will go click, but you cant cycle rounds through the chamber.
And rounds can be put in the internal mag.
