Hi,

Apologies if I should have posted individual threads for this. I am looking for a reproduction 1930 pattern Sidcot Flying suit and a Prestige Flying Suit. In fact, I need two of each.

Searching yesterday, I have seen the Czech-made ones (http://www.sidcotflyingsuits.com & http://www.pterodactyl-flight.cz/vystrojni-soucastky) which look the best to me and seem better value, but they are the earlier button-type pattern. I have seen the ones from Blue Swallow in the US (http://www.blueswallowaircraft.com/New-Sidcot-Suits-1.html), but they don't seem quite right, seem to come without any liner and I also see that that the measures have been changed from the originals they copied so an original liner probably will not fit correctly either. What I would like is the 1930 pattern zipped model with the button-in liner. Does anyone make those?

I have always thought of Pegasus for the Prestige Suits (http://www.pegasusmilitaria.com/product ... stige-suit), but yesterday I noticed that they seem to have change the breast pockets. I've seen an older example of theirs with flat, non-pleated pockets and simple v-shaped flaps. Which is correct? Are the current leather pull tabs on the zippers also correct? I would appreciate your thoughts and any other options.

Does anyone make reproductions of the D Lewis white flying helmets?

Finally, I found these gloves correct (http://www.aeroleatherclothing.com/prod ... php?id=183)? I think these are made by Garcia. Anybody else make correct ones? Also, do there exist models more appropriate to the summer weight Prestige suits?

Doesn't Steve Kiddle of Pegasus Militaria make the Prestige suits?

Be very careful about loaning original items...also, please keep an eye out for :
*Still missing* Because some folks are devoid of an ounce of honesty or integrity.
Women's Navy Great Coat
Green floor length 1930s evening dress with sleeves set on net.
Blue and white rayon dress with peplum
Black velvet halter necked dress with silver shot thread skirt (may still have Harrods label in it) I have photos of all of these items and I know where they are in Scunthorpe, but would appreciate a nod if they come up for sale. [/color]

Yes, both of the Prestige Suits are from Steve Kiddle. The first is an older one and the second with the pleated breast pockets is the one currently pictured on his website. My specific questions on these was: which style is correct? Are the leather pull-tabs correct? Are there other (correct) Prestige Suits made by anyone else?

The gloves are not correct for the earlier straight zip BoB gloves, they should not have the elasticated bit on the back of the glove - as far as i am aware, nobody makes a very good/accurate repro of these yet...
