Is there any one on here who can or knows of a table on how to decode date of issue of Irvin flying jackets please.My friend James brought one at Stoneleigh yesterday and would like to know year of issue please if possible

Andrew no just a big broad arrow on the left of the cloth label ,size 3 then the stores reference underneath the size

I seem to remember that if the rear is made of 2 panels of leather then it is early war and if it is 4 panels it is later war when they started using up scraps.
