Comrades can someone point me in the direction of the correct sling (a picture) for my "41"

Were there different types or styles ?

Kind regards

Lloyd

Thanks Lyndon..were there any variations as the one that came with mine is a wider canvas / web strap slightly olive green in colour with strap and buckle leather tabs at each end that fasten through the sling points on it....

What is this for comrades ?

regards

Lloyd

Do you mean that the lether bits sort of go sideways from the sling - rather than runing off the end ?

Hi again mate...no the leather buckle and strap are sewn to each end of the wider web strap. Then you pass the leather ends through the sling points and then secure with the buckle....

Looks effective but is it correct...you know how i am for authenticity

Regards

Lloyd

That sounds correct for a standard Push sling. the ones on the link are simply a cheaper version with tyes instead of the buckle.

What reason have they got for them having 41 on them, if they are post war ?
Would seem a bit of a coincidence that someone would make a "retro" mag with the date that would fit with an early produced Russian Mag :?

The gun pictured is a PPS-43 not a PPSh-41. The two magazines are not inter-changeable and it should not be taken as an indication of PPSh-41 box magazines look like.

Bas thanks for that.....looks like a 41 in the picture.

So what does a "straight" mag for a PPsH41 look like then ?

Regards

LLoyd

PS Comrade Viktor...please do not send the NKVD after me for crimes against the motherland as i will be safely in my bunker complex in the Kurland Pocket......:-)
