I have been aproached by my Parish council to assist in the renovation of our local Grade II listed war memorial. Part of this is they would like to include the names of local men missing from the plaques. I have discovered 3 through the CWGC, who are rather helpful when it comes to casualties of the World Wars. However there are at least two men from the village who died in smaller conflicts that we would like to add to the memorial.

Is there any data base that can be acessed that may assist in this search?

Many thanks.
Simon
