Hi guys

Does anyone know of good repros for 1 oz CE Primers, Cordtex and Bickford Safety Fuse?

I was thinking of maybe moulding some primers out of plaster, does anyone know the dimensions? Similarly what's the diameter of the fuse I'm guessing around 5mm

cheers
Belly

Have you seen "The Coleshill Auxiliary Research Team (CART)"

http://www.coleshillhouse.com/about-us.php

On the "Explosives and Booby Traps" page see "Contents of One Aux.Unit Mark II" because it list CE Primers and Cordex. The Auxiliary Units re-enactors are surely going to have made reproductions of these items:-

If you mean the conical white 1oz dry guncotton primers, then I can provide you with the dimensions of the variants... ...when I get back from holiday.

In the meantime, off the top of my head, they're 34mm top diameter, 29mm bottom diameter, and 35mm tall. I may have provided these/more accurate dimensions in a previous post, so please feel free to search my posts.

There's a chap in Sweden who does very good, albeit expensive, reproductions of these primers. Every now and then he advertises them on eBay, but I've not seen him do so in the past year.

That's the ones thanks Rob
They came in both gun cotton and CE (Composition Explosive) I think they were the same size, they both came in the same size tube.

Thanks both some good steers there I'll have a trawl though
cheers
Paul
