I know the No36 was used up to the 1970's and the No80 & 83's are still in service. has anyone got the dates for when the various grenades were phased out?

I've anecdotal evidence to the effect that the 36 was still about in the early '80s. It's pub gossip to be honest, but I was told that a certain unit who carry grenades and things like that and aren't the Army or the RM were never entirely happy with the L2 series and 36s issued to them for training were retained in case "the balloon went up". Like I say, drinking gossip, but a reliable source (when he's sober!)
