Post subject:  Slab, Demolition - is this British?

Picked this up at the weekend - basically a 2"x2"x4" (or thereabouts) waxed brown cardboard block for TNT (with 2 inserts for fuzes), marked:

L1448
Slab
Demolition
C.E./T.N.T. Mk (1 - handwritten)
Lot................... (handwritten 92 on this line)
Filled by....../...... (handwritten waht could be "Hodge" on this line, straight through the / )

To the left of this is a stamp that looks like T U 7 with a stencilled upward pointing arrow below it (hence why I'm assuming it's British...)

Anyone recognise this from the description? Sorry, no photos at present.

Cheers,
Glen.

sounds a bit like a 1lb block of TNT / CE but the size is different
2 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 4 1/2"

if you could get a picture up, that would be great as I'm am in the processes of making different types of explosives .
