hello everybody,
just to tell you that the lifeboy was used by the 9th bataillon over the Merville Battery on 6th June 1944 in the glider force.
information given by the user.....

Were mainly used by Infantry Assault Pioneers on initial assaults and individual targets as required. They were also responsible for placing mousehole and other similar charges to break into buildings, through walls etc
