2" Mortar bombs comes in two types of carriers. One which binds the three tubes with metal banding and webbing strapping and the other late war about 1945 which the three tubes sit in a metal frame carrier. With three tubes to each carrier, each tube holds two bombs of any type ie HE, smoke, signal, para illum etc. In the middle of the tube there is a short wooden block that separates the two bombs with the open ends closed off with a metal cap. The carriers come in a steel ammo box B167. Each box holds three carriers with a total of 18 bombs.
