Yes, there was an action fought when enemy tanks over-ran a forward air-strip and the RAF Regiment used them in anger to smash many fascist tanks.

I believe this to be the one and only ever combat fought with them.

Don't ask me which air strip, I can't remember, but I do remember that bit!

Weren't there a batch that somehow wound up at Tobruk , and were issued to an Indian division?
