Hi I have a Mk 2 bren tripod in good condition also has the legs to put it in the AA position I was wondering what they are worth at the moment had it for a year not really used it many thanks

Seem to recall that there were a couple listed on eBay towards the end of last year - I think one went for about £375.....the other one was on a fixed price/best offer at £500+..... not sure if that one sold though.

Its a Mk1 not mk2 and it looks like the bracket to mount the front of the gun in the AA role has sheared off (Or is it just the photo?)

Also may depend of manufacturer and date. Does it have AGE, BSA or CCM on the head where the AA leg fits, if you cant see it whats the serial number as that may help ID it.

The bracket is still there in one piece. A. 8660. EwS with the cross foot/ arrow. 43. A.G.E

AGE would be Australian General Electric, the smallest tripod producer but due to the imports in the 90s, probably the most commonly encountered.
