Did you get this one from Saracen exports? It's probably a mid 39 gun but it's hard to be sure with 39 guns as they went from peace time to war time production in September.

Thanks mate, spotted that earlier, I fear my biggest problem will be sourcing the butt plate and spoon, IMA have them but won't post to the uk because of there gun laws.

Know the gun, did you get it from John at Saracen? I have one of it's close brothers A3695.

Hi, yeah it's from John at saracen, both my mk 1's are from him, unfortunately both need the earlier lower receivers, otherwise are pretty nice spec, thanks for the heads up on the Indian butt spoons, I think it's going to be hard to source decent repro's, doubt I'll find an original!

I'll speak to a good friend of mine at W&P and see if he still has some. He did have repro handles (To correct spec) and genuine Butt plates with repro hinge and genuine butt spoons (JI).

He's only got genuine JI butt plates with genuine spoons at the moment. The hinge that attaches the 2 is a new CNC part affixed to the butt plate. There £90 + P&P. PM me if your interested and i'll give you his email add.
