One for the Bren stitch counter...

I've just noted that the 'pedigree' MKII Bren I bought at Beltring last month (the only one I could find) has an MKI magazine cover plate - the one with the ribs or dimples in it.

So is a 1943 Inglis MKII Bren likely to have left the factory with a MKI or a MKII cover plate?

Possibly a stupid question, but I thought I'd ask before going to the hassle / expense of tracking down a MKII cover plate.

Cheers,
Mark
