HAPPY EASTER.....!
I have purchased a load of new sten mags and started to catalogue them into manufacturers.
I have managed the easy ones but is there anyone that can help in identifying others for me?
Maybe post a list or copy a book page so others can study too.
P ok ease let me know if you can help and I will post the codes I have for others reference too.
Also, can anyone tell me what the letters I.C.R.1 on 90% of mags regardless of manufacture?

Many thanks

Paul

ICR1, Indian Central Railway workshops, Indian pattern mags, unusually have brass strips inside. Try buying Peter Laidlers book 'The Sten Machine Carbine' collectors grade book, saves all the fannying about looking for mag markings.

I'm looking at selling some, be nice to identify them for some serious collector. I don't want to spend money on the book really and I have all the mags I need for my sten and display.
I have actually done a very nice cut away on an old dented mag I had, looks really good.
See if can find a pic to put up.
Might do same on some of the tarnished one's I have and see if any takers.
