A 6mm airsoft version is available and currently being stocked for purchase in East Asian airsoft stores.

BTW; In the eyes of the VCR Act, if this airsoft one fires at over 1.35j energy (which it may well do due to it being CO2 powered) it would also be classed as an airgun. The shape and size of the projectile does not matter. Hopefully, they'll have some active pressure adjustment for tuning down any 'hot' guns.

They are nice. I handled a prototype of the air pistol (.177) version at Bisley a few weeks ago. My mate, who has a deact, thought it a very good replica in terms of looks and weight. At £199 I'm tempted.

Problem is that Webley are involved with the product :P and don't wish to admit that versions exist outside the UK as they don't make the same money. or mebbe don't make any

the 'official' UK webley is a CO2 powered .177 or .22 with modern markings re calibre etc
but can't be posted anywhere other than a local RFD, but the Airsoft can be posted to your door
(assuming that you have the right defense)

the "same" revolver is being made in the same factory ( For Gretchen?)
but with different barrels, cylinders and springs , without the modern trademarks, is available in the far east atmo as

6mm Black
6mm 'shabby' or antique finish
6mm Silver ( satin nickel)
marked as 1915 proper trades, or not marked at all

6mm being the Airsoft calibre, (they missed out 8mm , sadly)
the airsoft variants apparently shoot at 350 fps with 'proper' co2 12g, at 1.5 joules,
the 'real' UK air pistol shoots at 3 joules plus

so if you are thinking of just boring out the barrel and cartridges slightly, you will still be using an airgun not an airsoft pistol
If your thinking of "sleeving" an airsoft variant and using a 22 or 177 barrel, you'll have to adjust springs etc too,as well as check the cartridges will work
however the 'refillable air 12g carts will fit supposedly which offers a different opportunity
the 'full power ' air pistol co2 on air will go off with a fair old crack, when unloaded or firing cigarette filters :P so possibly suitable as a replacement for the hard to find PFC revolvers as well as being the big one for the indiana jones fans

also, if gifted at metalwork and woodwork you can change the butt shape a little towards birds head and use an 8g cart and fight off those dastardly Zulu's seeing as the guns can be stripped down if the photographs are correct

either way, I want a black new finish 1915 date or no trades model in airsoft version, as shooting the sister in law in the pert areas would be frowned upon a lot more with a full power airgun :)

just need one or the airsoft to land in UK now, apparently Landwarrior airsoft will have them soon
