I'm braced for another slagging with this one.
Can any one identify this bayonet please. It came from the chap my impression is based on.
I Only got it after he died. He did once mention it saying it had come from a chap in the navy. The hole in the frog was cut in to stop the bayonet handle bouncing loose as its a bit to short. Cpl Burn was in the home guard in the war and in the 50s, this was with his kit.

Looks like an Italian M1938 bayonet for the Mannlicher Carcano............IIRC :)
