Hope this makes sense

Starting from the top of the pintle the Dia is 32.99mm
The bottom of the first section Dia 27.61mm
The first gap is 3.76mm wide
The top of the second section Dia 26.38mm
The bottom of the second section Dia 23.99
The gap is 6.25mm wide
The end of the pintle shaft is Dia 20.96mm

So it tapers down from 32.9mm to 20.96mm the overall length of the pintle shaft is 67.98mm

Not trying to tell you how to do it :) ,coz I bet your an engineer  but if you taper it first and then just slide a micrometer down the taper to 27.61mm you've got to your first slot and so on :) , only reason I'm saying that is because I forgot to measure each section length

Hi Danny

57.5mm sounds like the same size as my Jeep M31C mount that takes the type of pintle in the picture, is your dash mount the same as the one in the other picture ?

Dave
