Evening all.

I don't often venture onto the US forums, as I'm outnumbered, but I wonder if someone out there can help me!

I am trying to find a US 60mm mortar (M1, M2 or M19 models would be OK) - does anyone know where I can find one, or which dealers are likely to have one available? I can source German kit easily, but US kit is a mystery to me!

Ideally I'd like the mortar to be complete, but as long as it has the base plate, bipod, tube and optics, I'll make/find the rest of the bits.

Many thanks guys!

Dave

Michael D Long Ltd at Nottingham had a 60mm mortar for £95.00, but I don't know if it is the type you are after,

Chris

Michael D longs are post war Portuguese !!!!!!!!!!

Finding a 'genuine' M3 is getting harder and the prices reflect that. We have one in our group which we bought about two years ago which cost 250.00 but we were lucky. There are plenty of mortars out there that are 'passed' off as originals but many have post war tubes and incorrect pattern bipods, be warned.

Good luck,

Dave

I'm not bothered it its not 100% war time dated - I can replace bits as I go along. I would like to try and find a correct one nonetheless!

Thanks for the advice though Dave, I'll keep a close eye on what is being offered.

I've looked at all the usual ordnance dealers with whom I am familiar (those adveriting on MilWeb.net mainly) - are there any others out there worth looking at?

Dave

Yes, but Withams website only lists the vehicles, never the deacs. They have a double page ad in Gunmart for their guns etc....
