I have all the information sizes dimentions of everything on the M1 bazooka. The M1 being the very early model with the two hand grips ladder type sight which can be used for right or left handed shooter and with the fire box that sits at the back on top of the bazooka. Many of these bazookas were not scrapped but modified so the back end looks the same as the M1A1, The fire box replaced with the band with the contact springs attached. The only part i don't have is the dimentions of the fire box etc.
In the book The World War GI US Army Uniforms 1941-45 In Colour Photographs by Windrow and Hawkins there is an M1 bazooka on page 99 under suport weapons showing the M1 with the fire box etc. Who owns this Bazooka. Is there any one out there with details sizes etc of this box. Does anyone have one for sale. Can any one help.
